Can you monetize AI-generated videos on YouTube?

AI tools don't disqualify a channel from the YouTube Partner Program. What YouTube cares about is whether the content is original, adds value, and isn't mass-produced or repetitive. Here is how the main rules apply to AI-assisted videos.
Inauthentic (mass-produced or repetitive) content
YouTube's monetization policies exclude content that is mass-produced or repetitive, such as videos made from templates with little variation, or that viewers would see as low-effort. In 2025 YouTube renamed this policy from "repetitious content" to "inauthentic content" to make the intent clearer.
